Shawyn Patterson-Howard was elected four years ago to right the ship in Mount Vernon.

She’s getting the job done, but there’s still more work to do. Now she’s running for re-election to keep moving Mount Vernon Forward.

Shawyn Patterson-Howard was born and raised in Mount Vernon and has been on the front lines of fighting for social justice in our city for the last thirty years. Mayor Patterson-Howard has become known as a problem-solver, applying her experience and ingenuity to implement strategies to address Mount Vernon’s most pressing challenges. 

Shawyn was elected to clean up the mess after our city had endured four years of chaos, corruption, and confusion. She hasn’t fixing solving every problem we face, but she’s making great progress on the issues that matter most. 

We’re making things happen for Mount Vernon.
